ScentCabinet Terms & Conditions
ScentCabinet ("we" and "us") operates [https://scentcabinet.com] (“Website”). By placing an order through this Website, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms ensure both parties have clear expectations regarding our services.


1. General


We strive to maintain accurate stock levels on our website. However, from time to time, stock discrepancies may occur, and we may be unable to fulfill your entire order. In such cases, we will ship the available items and contact you regarding whether you would like to wait for the restock or receive a refund for the out-of-stock items.



2. Shipping Costs


Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order. Payment for shipping is collected with the purchase and will be the final amount charged.



3. Returns


3.1 Returns Due to Change of Mind


ScentCabinet accepts returns for store credit if a return request is submitted within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be returned in its original packaging, unused, and in resalable condition.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and must arrange their own shipping.
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, store credit will be issued.
Shipping costs paid on the original order are non-refundable.

3.2 Warranty Returns


We honor valid warranty claims if submitted within 90 days of receipt.
Customers must pre-pay return shipping, but we will reimburse the shipping cost upon successful warranty approval.
Warranty claims will be processed within 7 business days after receiving the returned item.
If the warranty claim is approved, you may choose between:



(a) A refund to your original payment method


(b) Store credit for a future purchase


(c) A replacement item (if available)



4. Delivery Terms



4.1 Transit Time Within Europe


Most orders within Europe are delivered within 1 – 3 business days.


4.2 Transit Time for International Orders
International orders typically take 2 – 7 business days, depending on the courier selected at checkout.


4.3 Order Processing Time
Orders placed before 12 PM CET will be dispatched the same day.
Orders placed after 12 PM CET will be dispatched the next business day.
Our warehouse operates Monday – Friday (excluding national holidays).



4.4 Changing Your Delivery Address
You can request a change to your delivery address before your order is dispatched. Please contact us as soon as possible.



4.5 P.O. Box Shipping
We can ship to P.O. boxes using standard postal services. However, courier services may not be available for P.O. box addresses.



4.6 Military Address Shipping
We can ship to military addresses via standard postal services but not via couriers.



4.7 Items Out of Stock
If an item in your order is out of stock, we will automatically refund the unavailable item and ship the rest of your order.



4.8 Delayed Deliveries

If your delivery exceeds the estimated timeframe, please contact us so we can investigate the delay.



5. Tracking Notifications
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email to monitor the progress of your shipment.



6. Damaged Parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged:
If possible, refuse the delivery and inform the courier immediately.
If the parcel is delivered while you’re not present, please contact us with photos and details so we can assist you.



7. Duties & Taxes


7.1 Sales Tax
Sales tax is already included in the price displayed on our website.


7.2 Import Duties & Taxes
For orders shipped outside the EU, additional import duties, customs fees, or taxes may apply. These charges are not covered by ScentCabinet and must be paid by the buyer. Please check your local regulations before ordering.


8. Cancellations
You can cancel your order before it has been dispatched. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled, but you may request a return following our return policy.


9. Insurance
All parcels are insured for loss or damage up to the courier's declared value.


9.1 Parcels Damaged in Transit
We will issue a refund or replacement once the courier completes their investigation.


9.2 Parcels Lost in Transit
If your package is lost, we will process a refund or send a replacement once the courier confirms the loss.
